Pitso Mosimane has been the coach of Bafana Bafana for the past 2 years, earnt between R800, 000.00 and R1 million per month, and still had another 2 years left on his contract when he was fired last night after Sunday’s poorly attended game.
In the past 2 years, Bafana Bafana have had one dismal performance after the next, having lost the last 7 games in a row and now, not even qualifying for the African Cup of Nations, but Mosimane still stands to benefit to the tune of about R20 million!
The announcement was made shortly after midnight last night and Mosimane was allowed to bid the players farewell after they were called into a special meeting in the hotel they were staying in.
Bafana Bafana face Botswana in a 2014 World Cup qualifying match this Saturday.
