Liezel van der Westhuizen supports MAD charity with Estee Lauder

Over the weekend, Liezel and I headed off to Canal Walk to support the MAD charity initiative with Estee Lauder, where Estee Lauder handed a cheque over to MAD for just under a million rand!

Estee Lauder managed to raise the money by donating R10 of each foundation sold over the past 4 months alone,to the cause. The MAD (Make a Difference) Charity/Organisation was founded in 2003 by Francois Pienaar to provide educational and related opportunities to academically talented youngsters from less fortunate circumstances in order to maximise their personal development and mentor them into becoming effective role models.

They had an amazing pledge wall where you could write your own special message and place it as a brick on the wall, pledging your support to the cause and saying that you would buy a foundation before the end of July. We both signed our pledges, and I even had myself dolled up with all the fabulous Estee Lauder makeup on offer! So, now you all have an amazing reason to buy Estee Lauder’s foundation, and do your little bit for charity and continued education!
